To support local churches by providing Biblical counseling for the mental, spiritual and emotional health of the body of Christ.
We counsel people through many types of deep rooted problems, and nothing shocks us. Our counselors are experienced and compassionate, and we use a ground-breaking, faith-based counseling approach that is holistic, results-oriented and Christ-centered. You know someone who needs our specialized help!
Since we, as Christians, recognize that God can and does immediately and completely heal people from all types of ailments, physical, emotional, and spiritual, we must also recognize that this is more often the exception rather than the rule. The fact is, that oftentimes when God chooses not to miraculously, instantaneously heal someone, it is because he wants them to work through the process of healing, which can and does bring great peace and spiritual growth. This process of healing is found in Scripture and obtained in the context of Christian Counseling.
Our method is known as Holistic Biblical Counseling. It is not built on humanistic philosophy, rather, it is an approach that is built on very important Biblical foundations, and is extremely effective in helping people find healing and peace. It is "Holistic" because it is an evidence-informed, result oriented approach. It is "Biblical" because it is founded on basic theology of the Bible, as well as the concepts of healing and growth found therein. The following are just some of the concepts upon which this approach is built.
The first pillar of Holistic Biblical Counseling is that everyone is equally valuable because we are all made in the image of God. This fosters safety, empathy and freedom, which creates a space for healing and growth to occur.
Next, Holistic Biblical Counseling values the person over the issue, meaning that poor behavior patterns, and even sins are not judged (since that is the prerogative of God alone). Sin in the Christian's life is simply viewed as evidence of something unseen, such as a personal wound, that may require either healing, growth, or both.
A third pillar is that God is the only omniscient being. This is important because we must recognize that there are things we don't know, so that we can find the answers to them. Causes fall into one of three categories: Personal, Physical, and Spiritual. Each possibility and the possible combinations are considered.
This not an exhaustive explanation of Holistic Biblical Counseling, it is simply to give you an idea of what it is. If for some reason you don't have a positive view of Biblical counseling, Holistic Biblical Counseling will absolutely change that. It is compassionate, comprehensive, effective and Christ-centered.

Pastor Jesse is the Founder of Christian Counseling and has nearly two decades of experience as a Counseling and Teaching Pastor.
At age 7, Jesse identified a negative relational pattern and became curious about how to fix it. This sparked his interest in psychology and human behavior, which began his journey into counseling.
The Lord called him into ministry as a teenager, and in 2007, Jesse graduated Cum Laude from Liberty University with a seminary degree. He has since spent his life studying, counseling, and teaching God’s word. Jesse has served in a number of churches across the valley, and produced and hosted a Christian radio program called “The Unwinding Path” on 1280 KXEG. He continues his research and enjoys the fellowship of family and friends.
The Bible
The Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant. 2 Timothy 3:16 | 2 Peter 1:20-21 | Proverbs 30:5 | Romans 16:25-26
The Trinity
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal I John 5:7 | Genesis 1:26 | Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19 | Luke 1:35 | Isaiah 9:6 | Hebrews 3:7-11
Jesus
Jesus Christ is eternally God. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through Him all things were made. For the redemption of humanity, He left heaven and became incarnate by the Holy Spirit through the virgin Mary. Jesus willingly died on the cross to pay the price for the sins of humanity, and physically rose from the dead on the third day. John 1:1-14 | Romans 1:1-4 | John 3:16 | Matthew 28:18-20 | John 14:5-14 | John 10:22-39 | Galatians 4:1-7 | Hebrews 4:14-16 | Luke 1:26-38 | Matthew 1:18-24 | 1 Timothy 2:5-6
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God. He was active in the Old Testament, and after Jesus' resurrection from the dead, indwells believers. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live a life of holiness. 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 | Luke 11:13 | John 7:37-39; 14:16, 17; 16:7-14 | Acts 2:1-18
The Fall of Man
We believe that mankind, in his natural state, is a sinner separated from God. Romans 3:19-23 | Galatians 3:22 | Ephesians 2:1-2, 12
Salvation
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts. Christ’s vicarious death on the cross paid the penalty for the sins of the whole world, but its benefits are only applicable to those who recognize Jesus is Lord, and accept Him as their personal Savior. Ephesians 2:8-9 | Galatians 2:16; 3:8 | Titus 3:5 | Romans 10:9-10 | Acts 16:31 | Hebrews 9:22 | Acts 4:12 | Romans 4:1-9; 5:1-11 | Ephesians 1:3-14
Repentance
Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through repentance we receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation. Acts 2:21; 3:19 | 1 John 1:9
The Church
The church is the Body of Christ, composed of every person who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ. Every believer is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. Ephesians 1:22; 2:19-22 | Hebrews 12:23 | John 17:11, 20-23
Human Life
All human life is sacred from the moment of conception; and we have a responsibility to care for peoples' physical and spiritual needs.
Genesis 1:26-27 | Psalm 139:13 | Isaiah 49:1 | Jeremiah 1:5 | Matthew 22:37-39 | Romans 12:20-21 | Galatians 6:10
