Church Network Director

Location

Phoenix, AZ (based around the North Phoenix office at 3420 E. Shea Blvd.)  

Position Type: Temporary / Contracted  

Reports To: President 


Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and relational individual for a temporary contracted role focused on building awareness and relationships with local churches. The primary purpose of this position is to introduce Christian Counseling’s services to pastors, church leaders, and staff, clearly communicating who we are, what we do, and how our specialized counseling benefits churches and their congregations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough working knowledge of the Christian Counseling website (christiancounselingaz.org), services, approach (Holistic Biblical Counseling), terminology, and resources so you can accurately direct inquiries and guide people to the appropriate pages or information.
  • Make face-to-face contact with a minimum of six (6) churches per week. Conduct clear, efficient conversations that explain: Who Christian Counseling is; The counseling services and approach we offer; How our work supports and benefits local churches and the people they serve; Maintain a detailed activity log of all outreach efforts (churches contacted, key contacts, outcomes, follow-up notes, etc.) for review upon completion of the temporary assignment.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the organization’s outreach and relationship-building goals.


Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills; ability to engage pastors and church leaders confidently and professionally.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable with independent field work and scheduling.
  • Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn Christian/biblical counseling concepts and nonprofit church ministry contexts.
  • Basic organizational skills for logging activities and managing follow-up.
  • Access to reliable transportation for in-person church visits throughout the Phoenix metro area.
  • Alignment with the organization’s Christ-centered mission and values is preferred.
